About Lurz.com

lurz.com is a homepage away from home for all Lurzes and Lurz relations and Lurz wannabees. I am partial to those descendants, relatives, and friends of the John and Katharine Lurz from Baltimore, Maryland since they are my maternal grandparents. John and Katharine lived in Baltimore, had eleven children, two boys and nine girls, and died in 1949 and 1944. However, anything/anyone Lurz related (and a great deal more as well) is welcome here.

This site has been created to help encourage communication and contact between the descendants of John and Kate. What I have to offer here is a central home family information and pictures, etc. There is also a mailing list setup here to make it easy to contact those of us with email addresses. And, of course, there is the electronic family tree!
