Katharine Ursula Zeller

Our story begins with the Family of Charles and Margaret Zeller.  Charles was born on 3/7 or 9/1859 in Baltimore, MD.   Margaret Langhirt was born on 10/21/1860 in Hygrampha, Bavaria, Germany.  They resided at 1223 E. Biddle St., Baltimore, MD, the location for this family picture taken Easter Monday 1894.

John Henry Lurz


John Henry Lurz, Private of Company "M", of the 41st Regiment of Infantry, United States Volunteers, who enlisted on Oct. 13, 1899 to serve for a period ending June 30, 1901 in Japan while on duty.


John Henry enjoyed sports and is player located on left in middle row. This photograph was taken in 1904.


The Five Lurz Boys (brothers). John Henry, Joseph, Francis, Harry and George. Can anyone date this photograph?


John and Katharine meet, fell in love, and became Husband and Wife.


John and Katharine had eleven children, all shown here on May 27, 1944.
